Mahjong, a tile-based game for 4 players, uses 144 tiles and is a bit like rummy. It’s a game of skill, luck and strategy. And it’s addictive!
Interested in learning how to play or need a refresher? Lessons will be offered on Tuesday afternoons starting May 7 to June 11 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Class size will be limited to a maximum of 12 people and will take place in the card room.
For those of you who already know how to play, the card room has been reserved for playing on Thursday afternoons starting May 9 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. No need to register for Thursday playing - feel free to just show up. As the number of Thursday players is not yet known, if you have a mahjong set please bring it with you. Of course, you will also need your 2024 card.
There is no cost to play or to take lessons.
